Forgotten Forearms

So many of my clients are surprised by how tight their forearms are when I finally get to them. It’s an area most people overlook, yet it holds a huge amount of hidden tension.
Forearms are packed with a dense network of muscles and tendons that control every movement of your wrists, hands, and fingers. They’re constantly working; typing, gripping, lifting, scrolling. That repetitive use, especially of the closing muscles, gradually leads to tightness and fatigue.
Because this builds slowly, it often goes unnoticed until it starts affecting the wrists or hands. That’s where simple care can make a real difference. Regular massage whether with your hands, a ball, or a tool helps release built-up tension, improve circulation, and restore some ease to those overworked tissues.
And since many of the tendons that move your fingers run through the forearm, easing tension here can also help reduce hand pain. It’s a small, often ignored area, but giving it a bit of attention can have a surprisingly big impact on how your hands feel day to day.
